There is no file " 00console.rpy ", so the console can't be enabled. The file " 00console.rpyc " is encoded. So that can't be changed unless you know the code.

Is the dev keeping up with the promise of an update each two months or has been reneging on that also?

I'm pretty sure DC isn't from Europe, considering he says repeatedly that he's on EST. And I don't see how you got 200k a month in earnings. At best, the majority of his supporters are probably the lowest tier, so he's probably making under 40k a month on average, and I think I'm being generous.
Patreon takes their small cut, taxes paid out to the government and then he has to pay his coder, his writer, his posing team, then pay his animator or animators, plus the occasional hire when he has someone do colors after doing the linework.
My estimation of his annual income after everything is said and done is about 150-180k. It's still quite a lot, but not the numbers some people are guessing.
With all that being said, it's still moving really slowly, development wise, and I don't think anyone here would disagree.

i havent been keeping up with this game as much as you guys but every time i come back to it they remove more content which is sad to see because this was the game that got me INTO H games

When he stopped showing how much exactly he was making a month he was making 58,036 a month, 2.18 per patron. We don't know how much it is now but let's just say it went down to 2, we can say he's making anywhere from ~64-70k at least a month. So he's making 640-700k+ a year. And he still could be making more. His patreon was made well before may 2019, so it's possible he has a founders plan where patreon only takes 5% of his earnings. I doubt he would have switched to the pro or premium plans that take 8 and 12%. So after patreons cut he's making 608-665k+ a year. Including him there are supposedly 10 team members who knows how much he is paying them and how much they actually work on the game, but regardless with how much money he's making + the fact that it's a team of 10, the pace of the updates and amount of content in them is completely unacceptable. There's no way anyone is actually workin gon the game fulltime, darkcookie included, he's definitely milking his patron subscribers. Just another dev where the more money he makes and the more people he has supposedly helping him the slower the updates come out and when they do release they have less content.

In Germany the state would definitely open its hand for that. Since he would have to register his little project as a company like a twitch streamer has to, as well. You're essentially a one man company.
But I'm pretty sure he lives in the states. I don't even know where the whole DC is from europe thing sprang from.

Jeez, maybe the entire western porn game industry being so reliant on patreon donations is dogshit?
The danger of starving or having to work another job on the side hasn't stopped the likes of Type Moon in the past either back when they sold their games on Comiket. Show me a western dev who just makes a game and sells it, no donations, no updates upon updates. Just make a finished project from start to finish.

I'm not saying he shouldn't make money on patreon and instead release a finished game and sell it. He should earn money on patreon. All I'm saying is that when you're earning a (more than) full time wage and working on the game is supposed to be your full time job, you should actually treat it as such. Somehow he's making over 600-700k+ a year and has a team of 10, yet we're getting less content when it was just him making a fraction of what he makes now. There's no excuse for that other than the fact that he's not working on the game anywhere close to as much as he should be based on how much money he's making.
Am I doing something wrong or is this a mockery of the community???

Just saying, the entire industry relying on donations is a mistake. And I'd imagine if the Japanese industry had followed that trend as well it'd be long since dead. Not like it doesn't have it own issues these days, but that's a different topic.
I don't think there's any 'big name' western porn developer who hasn't fallen prey to the patreon rabbit role.

Ya, I agree, the entire industry is fucked. And at the end of the day you can't even blame the devs. It's not their fault their patrons keep paying them despite the fact that they consistently release updates that fail to even come to having enough content to justify the resources at the devs disposal and the time it took to release it. I'd do the same thing if I was in their shoes. I wish that one day patrons would start holding devs accountable but that day is never gonna come.
So how do i get inside the garage? i used to just click on the garage door, but now i have the key but don't understand where to use it. No inside door to the garage.
I was a freshman in highschool when this game came out. I saw this game from beta to being sorta complete, the main story and heroines being done and here i thought we'd just cruise and wait for all the side characters to be finished but in comes the rework.
I understand game designs hard it's a hellish job but it's crazy to me that this much time has past for a visual novel of all things and to renew a basically completed games progress by moving it to a different engine doesn't seem correct to me.
Like mechanics are mechanics and function are functions, I'd understand if the mini games were gone or certain locations didn't work right but to just outright remove 90% of the content and not even bother remaking the old ones you put in just seems foolish and seems like they're just asking for people to be upset at them.
