Lack of care towards his audience? The guy was literally here asking us about what we want to see in the game, instead of sitting in his Patreon echo chamber, that's more than 99% of the devs do. And we need to keep in mind that he has to port the whole game to renpy, aside from all the new content he has to put on. Him giving us an estimate of when the update will be released is at least something, compared with the usual TBA like most other the other big devs, which is fine because with games of this caliber you can't really know for certain when it will be ready.
Could he post more status updates? Sure. Is he lazy or a bad dev for not doing that? I don't think so.

Then you should check all post from Lewdlab shared by Jade(?!?!) in this and the old thread.
Because dev admitted to suffer from depression and that went to therapy/get help because of it.

The other 99% devs deliver their updates. I kinda find that more rewarding and caring that asking what I want to see in a game that won't be released or get delayed constantly for no reason. And I say for no reason because the dev doesn't tell us what's going on with his progress. But that's just me.
He has a team of coders if I remember correctly. Unless that's another lie. Either way, he has the money to invest in getting a team. He's had the money for quite a while.
He's lazy and a bad dev until proven otherwise.

If I remember correctly he said he had people helping him with the Unity version. Given that he wasn't happy with the result he switched back to Ren'py and I believe he went back to "Do it yourself". But it seems he ran into more coding issues in Ren'py than he anticipated. I'm however not sure if he'd hire help after how it turned out the last time he did. Also bringing in new people now won't make the release appear any sooner - typically the opposite is the case.
Anyway - I'm still looking forward to the release - whenever it will appear. I just hope it's before Milfy City gets going again
